Geography

Adelzhausen is located on the Ecknach in the Augsburg region and is in the eastern part of the district Aichach- Friedberg - around 15 kilometers east of the city of Augsburg.

History

Adelzhausen was first mentioned in 782 in a deed to the bishopric of Freising as " Adalhelmshusir ". Adelzhausen later belonged to Rentamt Munich and the court Aichach of the Electorate of Bavaria.
