Against the Grain (Bad Religion album)

Against the Grain is the fifth studio album by the punk band Bad Religion and was published in 1990. For many, this album is considered the best release of Bad Religion, and it contains songs which in turn are among the best recordings of the band, such as Anesthesia, Walk Away and Modern Man. The most famous song 21st Century (Digital Boy) in 1994 re-recorded for the album Stranger Than Fiction.

Against the Grain is the last album with Pete Finestone on drums, as this longer wanted to focus on his band project The Fisherman and thus was replaced shortly before the next album generator from Bobby Schayer.

Like all the albums from the early phase of the band (except Into the Unknown ) was Against the Grain republished in a digitally revised version in 2004. However, it was stated in the new edition as Year of the original album falsely, 1991, although it was released in November 1990.
