In the Japanese sun is an American War film released in 1943. The film was directed by Howard Hawks. In Germany the film never was shown in cinemas and was first performed in 1975 at the WDR. Air Force is a black and white film, which has been shown only in the original version with German subtitles.
Air Force tells the story of a U.S. bomber crew which comes in Hawaii during a training exercise in the attack by the Japanese. When the captain of the crew died during the attack, vows revenge on the crew. The opportunity arises when a Japanese naval unit is sighted.
