Hatari! is a film directed by Howard Hawks, which premiered on June 19, 1962 in the United States.

Action

The scenes on Brandys fishing station were in what was then Tanganyika, part of present-day Tanzania, shot on the farm Momella by Margarete Trappe. The Momella Game Lodge belonged Rolf Trappe and Jim Mallory. Later was also co-owner of Hardy Krüger. The town scenes were shot in Arusha.
The Hollywood classic was filmed from November 1960 to early 1961, after that followed in the Paramount Studios, the indoor shooting to about March 1961.
