Criticism

Hatari! lives of the camera in the middle of Africa's wildlife and comes with no major special effects, instead, takes any more or less subtle figure for a ride. The Music of Henry Mancini does a rest: well-known issues are the Baby Elephant Walk and the ostrich dance.

" An excellent entertainment film that takes the sovereign balance between tension and humor, fast-paced action and more relaxed rest. Without a penchant for cheap sensation Hawks combines the conventional, but sympathetic storyline with many original, but also exciting scenes of almost documentary intensity. Bold in camera settings for the hunting scenes are captured impressive and intense "

" Howard Hawks staged a successful mix of action and humor and created an adventure classic, which offers excellent hunting scenes and landscapes. Typical of Hawks is also the subject of men rivalries, but these must be subordinate to professionalism. Overall this is a wonderful animal catch - adventure spectacle: excellent photographed and played nice. Simply the best entertainment! "

'Virtuoso photographed hunting sequences and the miterlebbare atmosphere of danger suffer from the Gedehntheit the scenes. "
