Alabama State Route 19

The Alabama State Route 19 (abbreviated AL 19) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Alabama, which runs in a north -south direction.

History

In 1944, the AL was opened 19 between Hamilton and Millport. This route was nine years later replaced by the AL 17. In 1957, the road between Red Bay and Weston was again awarded with the number 19. The course today was the State Route 1968 with the expansion of Weston to Detroit.
