Albersroda is a district of the municipality Steigra in the hall district, in Saxony -Anhalt ( Germany ).

From 2005 to 2009 Albersroda belonged to the administrative community Weida -Land. Until the merger with the community Steigra on 1 January 2010 Albersroda was an independent municipality with the appropriate district Schnellroda. Last mayor Albersrodas was Gerhard Schneider.

History

Albersroda

Albersroda was first mentioned in 1144 as Adelbrehtisrod and belonged with Schnellroda as Bamberg fief to Burgwart distinctions ( Burgscheidungen ). Schnellroda

1142 Schnellroda was first mentioned as a village Snell.
