Albersroda is a district of the municipality Steigra in the hall district, in Saxony -Anhalt ( Germany ).
From 2005 to 2009 Albersroda belonged to the administrative community Weida -Land. Until the merger with the community Steigra on 1 January 2010 Albersroda was an independent municipality with the appropriate district Schnellroda. Last mayor Albersrodas was Gerhard Schneider.
History
Albersroda
Albersroda was first mentioned in 1144 as Adelbrehtisrod and belonged with Schnellroda as Bamberg fief to Burgwart distinctions ( Burgscheidungen ). Already in 1589 belonged Albersroda as office Village to the Saxon Office Freyburg. It lived 35 possessed men, of whom 14 and 21 Anspänner Behind Sattler. The Dorflur limited time with Gleina, Steigra, Cars village, Schnellroda and Saint Micheln. Albersroda was then the parish after Schnellroda and was later a church. Albersroda, temporarily called Albrechtsroda, belonged since 1815 to the Prussian province of Saxony, and was in the district of Merseburg, in Querfurter circles in the Official Freyburg, northeast of the Unstrut and not far from the Wachhügel, in a fertile district. The village has 46 houses, 210 inhabitants, a branch church of Schnellrode and a school, which are under the Collatur of dasigen manor owner and the inspection Freyburg.
1822 Albersroda is referred to as a village with a manor and branch of Schnellroda. It was at this time 45 houses and 208 inhabitants. In 1985 started the construction of the water tower, this was until 1975 in operation.
In 1912, about the village in the administrative district of Merseburg, circular cross- ford District Court Freyburg and at that time had 357 inhabitants. 1974 it belonged then to the circular cross- ford County Hall and had 406 inhabitants.
Schnellroda
1142 Schnellroda was first mentioned as a village Snell. The place was originally known as Bamberger After fief with the same name Bamberger Ministerialengeschlecht " of Schnellroda " to Burgscheidungen. Place and manor belonged to the Schnellroda of Kannewurf 1497-1748 and expanded the now reformed church, which is occupied by a memorial stone from 1665. Subsequently, the families v. Rockhausen on Kirchscheidungen and the Count von der Schulenburg on the Burgscheidungen (until 1945). The Hanseatic family who owned the estate since 1871, was expropriated in 1945 by the land reform and left the place.

Schnellroda features a guest house, a kindergarten, a prominent water tower and a pyramid-shaped war memorial, which was renovated in 2003. The club and village life is organized in " traditional club ", the band and the " tractor club." Highlights in the village next to the church year are Christmas and Easter solemnities, above all, the " Whitsun beer" ( with an unbroken 287- year tradition ), Thanksgiving and the house owners reserved herring meal on Shrove Tuesday.
