Albert Heilmann

Albert Heilmann ( born June 6, 1886 in Munich, † December 20, 1949 in Berlin- Wilmersdorf; Complete name: Albert Max Heilmann ) was a German builder who worked in Munich and Berlin.

From 1909 to 1929 he served as junior partner of his father Jacob Heilmann, the construction company that Heilmann & Littmann Bau-GmbH. He later became Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the now converted into a joint-stock enterprise.

The House of Europe in Berlin, which now houses the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, was built by him in collaboration with the Berlin real estate entrepreneur Heinrich Mendelssohn.
