Albert Joseph Tsiahoana

Albert Joseph Tsiahoana ( born August 3, 1927 in Fenerive -Est; † 15 June 2012) was Archbishop of Antsiranana and a Council Father of the last two sessions of the Second Vatican Council.

Life

Albert Joseph Tsiahoana received on 26 August 1956, the ordination.

Pope Paul VI. appointed him on 10 February 1964 in Bishop Diégo - Suarez and Titular Bishop of Abthugni. The Archbishop of Diégo - Suarez Edmond -Marie -Jean Wolff CSSp ordained him on June 14, the same year as bishop; Co-consecrators were Ramanantoanina Gilbert SJ, Archbishop of Fianarantsoa, and Jules -Joseph Puset SMM, Bishop of Tamatave.

On April 13, 1967, he was appointed Archbishop of Diégo - Suarez. On November 14, 1998 Pope John Paul II accepted his resignation.
