Alejandro Faurlín (2011)
Alejandro Damián Faurlín ( born August 9, 1986 in Rosario, Santa Fe) is an Argentine football player who is under contract with the English first division side Queens Park Rangers. He currently plays on loan for the U.S. Palermo.
Club career
Faurlín began his career at CA Rosario Central, which played in the Primera División. He made his debut on 9 May 2004 in the away game at Quilmes AC. After he graduated just a game for his hometown club, he moved to Atlético de Rafaela, who played in the Nacional B.
Between 2008 and 2009 he played for Instituto Atlético Central Córdoba, also in the second division. On 7 July 2009 Faurlin signed a contract with Queens Park Rangers. For the transfer Atlético received 3.5 million pounds.
On January 31, 2013 Faurlín moved to end of season on loan to the Italian first division side U.S. Palermo.
National team career
With the Argentine U-17 national team, he participated among others in the Campeonato Sudamericano Sub-17 of 2003. With the team he won at the end of the competition, the U-17 South American Championship after been left behind in the final round in Brazil, Colombia and Uruguay.
