Aleksandar NaÄ‘feji

Aleksandar Nadjfeji ( Serbian Cyrillic Aлександар Нађфеји, alternative spelling: Aleksandar Nadjfeji; born October 27, 1976 in Belgrade, Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian basketball player and assistant coach. Since the 2013/14 season, he is player and assistant coach at the WALTER Tigers Tübingen.

Career

Nadjfeji joined in 2001 by KK Radnički Belgrade in the Basketball Bundesliga and plays continuously since then in the German top flight. His career in Germany, he joined the Telekom Baskets Bonn, where he became the absolute power carrier and one of the best players in the league. In 2005 he moved to the Cologne 99ers. With Cologne, he managed to defeat in the final against ALBA Berlin and has been so for the first time in his career German masters. The following year he was with the 99ers German cup winner, as the club in January 2008 but was forced to declare bankruptcy, he joined ALBA Berlin.

In Berlin, he was again in 2008 to celebrate the German championship. He was also in 2009 for the second time Cup winner with Alba. After the 2008/2009 season, his contract was not renewed, however, in Berlin and moved to the Nadjfeji WALTER Tigers Tübingen. After one season he left the Tübingen and signed with Pro A - division team FC Bayern Munich, a 3- year contract. With the ambitious team of former national coach Dirk Bauer man succeeded at the end of his first season in Munich, the rise in the basketball league. After he was still an important part of the rotation of Bavaria in the 2011/12 season, he completed under coach Svetislav Pesic 2012/13, only eight games.

Therefore Nadjfeji decided for the season 2013/14 back to Tübingen back and signed a three -year contract. On the side of his friend Igor Perovic he will be mainly Assistant Coach, but are available if required on the pitch.

2001 Nadjfeji was a member of the Yugoslavian national team Svetislav Pesic. In Germany he was four times elected to the All Star Team of the BBL.

Aleksandar Nadjfeji is married and has 3 children. His brother Stevan Nadjfeji also plays basketball, currently at Panionios Athens.
