Alexander Kucheryavenko

Alexander Vasilyevich Kutscherjawenko (Russian: Александр Васильевич Кучерявенко; born August 27, 1987 in Moscow, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is under contract with SKA St. Petersburg of the Kontinental Hockey League since 2007.

Career

Alexander Kutscherjawenko began his career as a hockey player in his hometown at HK Spartak Moscow, for its first team he was active from 2004 to 2006 in the Super League. Then the attacker played one and a half years for his league rivals Salavat Yulaev Ufa, before transferring to SKA St. Petersburg during the season 2007/ 08. With this, he participated since the 2008/09 season in the game mode of the newly formed Kontinental Hockey League.

Internationally

For Russia Kutscherjawenko took part in the U18 World Youth Championship in 2005, as well as the U20 Junior World Championships 2007 part. In the 2007 U20 World Championships, he won the silver medal with his team.
