Alfons Schuhbeck

Alfons Beck ( born May 2, 1949 as Alfons Karg in Traunstein ) is a German chef, cookbook author, restaurateur, television chef and entrepreneur.

Professional career

Shoe Beck grew up in the Bavarian Chiemgau and first began training as a telecommunications technician. When he The Scalas in the Bavarian resort of Waging am See, not far from Salzburg stopped over with his rock band, he came across the landlord Sebastian shoe Beck, who convinced him to do an apprenticeship to become a chef. In 1994, he was convicted in this context for embezzlement and tax evasion to one year probation and a fine of 250,000 DM. Shoe Beck founded in the late 1990s the gastronomic business Schuhbecks at Platz GmbH. These include the one-star restaurant shoe Beck's, the restaurant Orlando, a wine bistro, catering service, a cooking school, a spice shop, a tea shop, a chocolate shop and an ice cream parlor.
