Almas Tower

The Almas Tower is a 363 meter tall skyscraper in the construction area Jumeirah Lake Towers in Dubai (UAE). The name refers to " Almas " Arabic for diamond. It is home to the et al the headquarters of the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre ( DMCC ).

Description

The over the many surrounding skyscrapers skyscraper has 74 floors outstanding, of which the top four service floors. The construction was started in 2005 and had its final height of 363 meters reaches the end of 2007 up to the top. Upon completion in 2009 it was the tallest completed building in Dubai for a short time until the Burj Khalifa opened in January 2010. He stands almost in the center of the building area of Jumeirah Lake Towers, so that it acts from all directions as a reference point. It is striking in this single stationary tower, that he seems to grow out of a " rosette " of eight tapering houses on foot. He is currently the fifth tallest building in Dubai.

In the lower area is located on 1,500 square meters of a public diamond exhibition center with sales rooms, additional office floors are reserved for the most part for the diamond dealer. In Almas Tower is an office of the organization of the KPCS and the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre ( DMCC ).
