Alta Via 1

The Dolomites Alta Via 1, n called in Italian Alta Via delle Dolomiti 1, is a long distance hiking in the Alps. As a classical way he leads in 9 to 13 daily stages over a distance of 150 km from Braies to Belluno.

Course and requirements

The Dolomites Alta Via 1 runs along the main ridges of the eastern Dolomites groups along the south. Stages

The following classification is intended as a suggestion and thanks to the numerous huts both divided into shorter sections are as summarized in longer distances.

First, not very steep scree slopes on the Forcella Forcella Ambrizzòla up and continue on gravel to the Forcella Col Duro ( look at Marmolada, Pelmo, etc.).
