The Office Altdöbern is a 1992 formed office in the state of Brandenburg, where originally 14 municipalities in the former circles Calau and Senftenberg have (now Oberspreewald -Lausitz, Brandenburg ) together to form a management group. Seat of the official administration in the municipality Altdöbern. Through municipal mergers and reclassifications, the Office has five churches today.

Geographical location

The Office is located in the center of the district Oberspreewald -Lausitz in Brandenburg ( Germany ) and is bordered to the north by the official free city Calau and the official free Vetschau / Spreewald, to the east by the official free cities Drebkau and Welzow ( Spree- Neisse ), in the south the official free city Grossraeschen and the official free city Senftenberg in the south and to the west by the Office Small Magpie ( Lower). Altdöbern is close to the Spreewald.

History

On 17 September 1992, the Minister of the Interior gave its approval for the formation of the Office Altdöbern based in Altdöbern. The time of occurrence of the office October 1, 1997 has been set. At the time of establishment of the Office included the following communities in the former circles Calau and Senftenberg ( in the order of citation in the Official Journal ):

On 1 February 2002, the municipalities Ranzow and Reddern were integrated into the community Altdöbern. At the same time the communities Bahnsdorf, Lindchen, Lubochow Ressen and formed the new municipality of New Zealand. On March 31, 2002, the municipalities Buchwäldchen, Gosda, Muckwar and Schöllnitz merged to form the new municipality Luckaitztal.

The community Bronkow (Official Calau ) was first on 26 April 2002 approving the formation of the new community Bronkow together with the communities Lipten and Lug 1 July 2002 and wanted to go to the office Altdöbern. Approval for the formation of a new municipality Bronkow but was lifted on 12 June 2002. It was only on 26 September 2002, the Ministry of the Interior approved the merger of the three communities and the changing of the new municipal Bronkow in the Office Altdöbern. The merger became effective until 26 October 2003. In order for the Office Altdöbern had only five official belonging to communities.

General Special Education Altdöbern with Hort, Scholl -Str. 25 The school has been closed since the summer of 2010. the students are distributed to other schools of the district.
