Álvaro Daniel Pereira Barragán ( born November 28, 1985 in Montevideo) is an Uruguayan football player.

The large depending on the source position 1.82 m or 1.85 m Pereira started his professional career in 2004 when CS Miramar Misiones and moved to Argentina in 2005 for Quilmes AC. After Quilmes descent, he joined us in 2007 for about 200,000 euros to the Argentinos Juniors, where he ( eleven goals) played 35 games in a season.

In July 2008 he was transferred for a transfer fee of 2.5 million euros to CFR Cluj. Thus he is the far most expensive shopping in the club's history of Cluj. For Porto he graduated in the first two seasons (2009/ 10 and 2010 /11) 49 league matches and scored one goal. In the season 2011/12 were added 23 more games as well as a goal. Moreover, he could look back at the end of the season 2011/12 on 20 and 13 Champions League Europa League Appearances for Cluj and postage.

For the 2012/13 season Pereira moved for ten million euros in the Serie A Inter Milan. Through bonuses, this sum may be increased to up to 15 million euros. He signed a four-year contract until 30 June 2016. During his first season at the Milanese, he completed 28 games in Serie A and scored one goal. He also ran in nine matches of the Europa League. In the season 2013/14 he came in five games ( no goals ) of the Serie A train. His change during the season for FC Sao Paulo was announced on January 21, 2014 then. On the Brazilian side, he was loaned out for 18 months. In ten league matches (one goal ) on: For the Brazilians he ran so far ( as of March 19, 2014 ).

National

Pereira was on 19 November 2008 his debut for Uruguay in the match against France. The game ended goalless.

With the Uruguayan national Pereira participated in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, where Uruguay finished fourth and Pereira in six of seven games on the court stood (one goal ). Likewise, Pereira was part of the Uruguay national team, which won the Copa America 2011 in Argentina. The midfielder completed in this tournament five games (two goals). At the FIFA Confederations Cup 2013, he worked in too.

Overall, he completed since 55 matches in which he can produce six personal Torerfolge. His last assignment provisionally dated March 5, 2014.
