The large depending on the source position 1.82 m or 1.85 m Pereira started his professional career in 2004 when CS Miramar Misiones and moved to Argentina in 2005 for Quilmes AC. After Quilmes descent, he joined us in 2007 for about 200,000 euros to the Argentinos Juniors, where he ( eleven goals) played 35 games in a season.

In the season 2013/14 he came in five games ( no goals ) of the Serie A train. His change during the season for FC Sao Paulo was announced on January 21, 2014 then. On the Brazilian side, he was loaned out for 18 months. In ten league matches (one goal ) on: For the Brazilians he ran so far ( as of March 19, 2014 ).

National

Pereira was on 19 November 2008 his debut for Uruguay in the match against France. The game ended goalless.

With the Uruguayan national Pereira participated in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, where Uruguay finished fourth and Pereira in six of seven games on the court stood (one goal ). Likewise, Pereira was part of the Uruguay national team, which won the Copa America 2011 in Argentina. The midfielder completed in this tournament five games (two goals). At the FIFA Confederations Cup 2013, he worked in too.

Overall, he completed since 55 matches in which he can produce six personal Torerfolge. His last assignment provisionally dated March 5, 2014.
