For the construction of the Morumbi, which Cicero Pompeu de Toledo is actually called, was saved at the SPFC in all possible places. So many assets were sold, as well as various players. Even with this great loss succeeded the SPFC in the years to be 1953 and 1957 champion. For the construction of the new stadium 340,000 cubic meters of excavation were processed. There were 280,000 bags of cement and 50,000 tons of reinforcing steel consumed.
