Amado Boudou

Amado Boudou ( born November 19, 1963 in Mar del Plata, Argentina) is an Argentine businessman and current Vice President of the country under Cristina Fernández de Kirchner. He attained the post in the presidential and parliamentary elections in Argentina 2011.

Life

Boudou was born on 19 November 1963 in the Argentine coastal city of Mar del Plata, went through his training. 1986 closed Boudou at the state Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata graduated in economics from. At that time he was considered a great friend of the Argentine rock scene and organized various rock concerts, including a festival with 15,000 spectators, in Mar del Plata.

Then Boudou worked as a businessman for Venturino Ehisur SA, a nursing service. Since he was very successful in business and was able to conclude various agreements with community hospitals, he quickly rose within the management. After Juan Pablo de Jesús won the mayoral elections in the district of La Costa ( Buenos Aires Province ), Boudou worked as financial secretary.

2006 Boudou returned to ANSES. The then head of the social, Sergio Massa, Boudou promoted to finance director. In October 2008, Boudou was appointed head of the ANSES after Sergio Massa was appointed Chef de Cabinet.

After the list connection Frente para la Victoria to the President Kirchner suffered heavy losses in the Argentine Parliament elections in June 2009, the then Minister of Economic Affairs Carlos Rafael Fernández resigned. Kirchner appointed Amado Boudou then the new economy minister.

Due to the economic and financial crisis in 2008 and the previously difficult financial situation of Argentina in the credit market, the Cristina Fernández de Kirchner decided to use the reserves of the Argentine Central Bank, whose president Martín Redrado resigned under their pressure. Boudou supported the President in this procedure. Also, the President decided the pension fund, originally privately to nationalize again; Boudou was conceptually behind this nationalization.

On 20 December 2010 Boudou announced his candidacy for the office of Mayor of the City of Buenos Aires for the list of connection Frente para la Victoria. The Connection list, however, decided in the primaries for senator Daniel Filmus as candidates.

In June 2011, President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner announced its renewed candidacy for the office of President Boudou was a candidate for the office of Vice-President.
