Aman Wote

Aman Wote ( born April 18, 1984 in Kabet, Tigray region ) is an Ethiopian middle distance runner who specializes in the 1500 meters distance.

In 2010 he finished seventh at the African Championships in Nairobi, 2011 fifth in the Pan-African Games in Maputo in 2012 and fourth at the World Indoor Championships in Istanbul. At the Olympic Games in London in 2012, he left in the run, at the World Championships 2013 in Moscow in the semis.

His biggest success so far at the World Indoor Championships Wote 2014 in the Polish Sopot by winning the silver medal in the 1500 meter race.
