Amanda McBroom

Amanda McBroom ( born August 9, 1947 in Woodland Hills, California) is an American actress, singer, songwriter and cabaret artist.

Life

McBroom graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and reached a BFA in 1969. Their most successful song is The Rose of 1979, for which she won the Golden Globe Award in 1980. Later, she worked for a long time with the songwriter Michele Brourman together, such as on some songs in the film series The Land Before Time.
