Amelle Berrabah

Amelle Berrabah ( born April 22, 1984 in Aldershot, Hampshire) is a British singer and songwriter. Since late 2005 until 2011 she was Aufläsung member of the British girl band Sugababes.

Berrabah attended the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford with a scholarship. At the time she met her manager and, together with her sister Samiya the band Boo2. The manager of the Sugababes became aware of them when he saw them at a gig of Boo2. As a founding member Mutya Buena left the Sugababes in late 2005, called the band's manager Berrabah and told her that she had the opportunity to be a part of the Sugababes. She took on three songs, which were the remaining members Keisha Buchanan and Heidi Range played. A little later she was introduced as a new member of the Sugababes. Solo artist

In early 2012 it was reported that they had begun recording their first solo album. Personal life

Berrabahs parents are from Morocco. She has four sisters and one brother. Her father died of cancer in 2002.

After it was announced that Keisha Buchanan left the Sugababes and the band was under massive pressure, she let herself commit to a clinic and treat three weeks because she was suffering from a severe nervous exhaustion in October 2009.

On 27 April 2007 she was arrested because she was suspected of having attacked a woman in a bar, but was not convicted. She was arrested again in January 2008, when she was suspected to have damaged a car in her hometown of Aldershot. However, it was later acquitted of all guilt, as it was found that she had not even been present at this time in the city. On September 23, 2010 she was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving after neighbors called the police. It was spoken by a court guilty and received a 14 -month driving ban and a fine of £ 2,000. She was also sentenced again on September 2, 2011 due to an attack on a person. She was released on condition that they pay £ 250 for pain and suffering to their victims.
