Andrea Zafferani

Andrea Zafferani ( born December 19, 1982 in San Marino) is a politician from San Marino. He was from October 1, 2010 to March 1, 2011 one of the two Captains Regent (Head of State ) of San Marino.

Biography

Andrea Zafferani holds a PhD in Economics and Management and works for the Central Bank of San Marino. He is married and lives in Fiorentino.

Since 2000 he is member of the National Alliance Popolare, 2006, he was coordinator of the youth organization of the AP. Between December 2003 and May 2005 Zafferani was a member of the municipal council of Serravalle and was elected in the elections of 28 November 2007 the Consiglio Grande e Generale parliament of San Marino. There he was a member of the Standing Committee on pensions and social security. In the term of office from 1 October 2010 to 1 April 2011 he, together with Giovanni Francesco Ugolini Capitano Reggente (Head of State ) of San Marino.
