Andreas Maurer

Andreas Maurer ( born March 8, 1958 in Gelsenkirchen- Buer ) is a former German tennis player.

Life

He belonged to the late seventies to mid -eighties to the best German tennis players. In the tennis league, he worked from 1980 to 1990, the TC Blau-Weiss Neuss active. In 1985 he also played in that German Davis Cup team that reached the final against Sweden, but ultimately could not use their home advantage.

After his playing career Maurer worked as a tennis coach in professional tennis. By 2009, Andreas Maurer ran a tennis school (New Tennis generation) together with Marc -Kevin Goellner. In 2009 he founded the Tennis Academy Base and Andreas Maurer, which he runs since then.
