Andrei Kolesnikov (ice hockey)

Andrei Viktorovich Kolesnikov (Russian: Андрей Викторович Колесников; born February 26, 1989 in Barnaul, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is under contract with the Sary- Arka Karaganda HK in the Wysschaja Hockey League since 2012.

Career

Andrei Kolesnikov comes from the offspring of HK Avangard Omsk region, for its junior he was active until 2005. He then moved to the youth department of the HK CSKA Moscow, for its second team, he was eligible to play until 2006 in the third-class Perwaja league. Parallel played the defender in the season 2006/ 07 for Neftjanik Leninogorsk in Wysschaja League, the second Russian league. The following season was only active for Neftjanik and scored 14 points scorer in 51 games.

From the 2008/ 09 season was Kolesnikov for Vityaz Chekhov of the Kontinental Hockey League newly founded on the ice. Between 2009 and 2011 he also took up for Vityaz boys team in the multinational junior league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja league. In November 2011 he was transferred within the KHL to Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk.
