Career

After his time in the first Argentine league Nocioni in 1999 moved to Spain. There he played for TAU Ceramica Vitoria in the ULEB Euro League and the Spanish Liga ACB.

On 11 August 2004, he was hired by the Chicago Bulls as a free agent. After four years as a player with the Bulls went on for Nocioni to the Sacramento Kings and later to Philadelphia.

Since 2012, Nocioni plays in the Spanish ACB League, and in the Euro League. He belongs to the cadre of Saski Baskonia ( Caja Laboral ) from Vitoria.

National

Andrés Nocioni plays for the Argentine national team, with whom he won the gold medal at the Olympic Games in Greece among others in 2004. Built in 2008, the Argentine selection at the Olympic Games in Beijing the third rank, and therefore the bronze medal.

In the Basketball World Championship 2010 in Turkey Nocioni could only be present as a spectator. Although he traveled with the team to the tournament, but his former club Philadelphia 76ers forbade him to participate after an injury he had suffered in training camp.

Trivia

The peculiarity of Andrés Nocioni is his insatiable ambition. He often goes on despite injuries in which other players would shun the field. For this reason, he earned the nickname " Chapu ", after the Latin American comic book superhero El Chapulin Colorado.
