Andrew Lord

Andrew Lord ( born February 22, 1985 in West Vancouver, British Columbia) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who plays since 2013 in the Cardiff Devils in the Elite Ice Hockey League in the position of striker.

Career

Andrew Lord's first season in a major junior league, in his case the PIJHL, was the 2000/01 season, which he spent at the Grandview Steelers. After this season joined Lord in the British Columbia Hockey League, where he played three seasons. Which one for the Burnaby Bulldogs and the other two for the Vernon Vipers.

In 2004 he began to study at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and played in parallel for the college team in the NCAA. In 2008 he finished his studies and moved to the Wheeling Nailers in the ECHL. He stood there for two seasons on the ice, while also having three games for the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League completed in the 2009/10 season. In the 2010/11 season Andrew Lord played two AHL games with the Milwaukee Admirals and was otherwise with the Oklahoma City Barons, which played as the Admirals in the AHL, are used.

In the season 2011/12 Lord was not able to play due to a concussion at the end of the previous season and completed a single game for the Oklahoma City Barons. For the 2012/13 season played Lord in Germany for ten times German champions SC Riessersee. For the SCR he stormed a season to leave Garmisch -Partenkirchen towards Elite Ice Hockey League. He has been there since the 2013/14 season with the Cardiff Devils under contract. There, since this season also plays its SCR colleague Jake Morissette.
