Anmary

Anmary (actually: Linda Amantova; born March 3, 1980 in Gulbene, Latvian SSR) is a Latvian singer. She represented Latvia with the song " Beautiful Song " at the Euro Vision Song Contest 2012 in Baku.

After studying at the Latvian Academy of Music in Riga, she was active as a voice teacher. In 2003 she took part in the Latvian talent show Talantu Fabrika and reached the second place. On 18 February 2012, she sat down at the Latvian National decider, Eirodziesma 2012, by and represented in order for Latvia, as the successor of the duo Musiqq, the first semi-final of the Euro Vision Song Contest in 2012. However you could not qualify for the finals themselves. The text of their English-language song " Beautiful Song " is derived from Roland's Ūdris, the music of Ivars Makstnieks. Beautiful song reached no chart position even after the final of the Eurovision Song Contest.
