Anthony Obame

Anthony Obame Mylann (born 10 September 1988) is a Gabonese Taekwondo, which is active in the heavyweight division.

Obame played his first international title fights at the 2011 World Championships in Gyeongju, where he could with two wins to reach the knockout stages in the class up to 87 kg. In the same weight class, he won at the Pan-African Games 2011 in Maputo, the gold medal and won his first international medal. When African Olympic Qualification Tournament 2012 in Cairo, he won the heavyweight over 80 kilograms Daba Modibo Keïta victories over Chika Chukwumerije and a starting place for the 2012 Olympics in London. There he met up before the finals and defeated Carlo Molfetta, with 9:9 points after extension and after jury's decision. He won the silver medal and the first Olympic medal for his country at all.
