Aristidis Konstantinidis
Aristidis Konstantinidis (Greek Αριστείδης Κωνσταντινίδης ) was a Greek cyclist.
Konstantinidis, won the cycling marathon of 87 kilometers on the route Athens Marathon Athens in the I. modern Olympic Games in Athens in 1896. Although he twice suffered a breakdown on the way back from Marathon and had to borrow for the last few kilometers even the wheel of a stationary spectator at the track, be ahead of the runner-up, the German August Gödrich was almost twenty minutes. Konstantinidis also took part in the race on ten and 100 kilometers, but different from each after a fall.
Ten years after his Olympic victory, he took part in the road race in the interludes, 1906 in Athens, but the target is not reached.
