Artem Demkov

Artsiom Dsjamjanawitsch Dsjamko (White Russian Арцём Дзям'янавіч Дзямко, Russian Артём Демьянович Демков / Artyom Demyanovich Demkow; born September 26, 1989 in Minsk, Byelorussian SSR) is a Belarusian professional ice hockey player who stands since 2011 at the Elmira Jackals in the ECHL under contract.

Career

Artsiom Dsjamko began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of the HK Junost Minsk, for its first team, he was active in the Belarusian Extraliga 2006-2008. Mainly, however, he came for the second team HK Junior Minsk in the second division are used. The season 2008/ 09 spent the Belarusian youth international players in the Canadian Junior Football League QMJHL, where he stood for the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles and Acadie - Bathurst Titan on the ice. Then the winger returned to his homeland, where he received a contract with HC Dinamo Minsk, for in 16 games, he ran aground in the 2009/10 season in the Kontinental Hockey League, where he was awarded two penalty minutes. He spent the next eighteen years, however, in Minsk Farm Team HK Schachzjor Salihorsk in the Extraliga. With this, he was runner-up.

For the 2011/12 season Dsjamko was committed by the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.

Internationally

For Belarus Dsjamko took at junior level at the U18 Junior B World Cup 2007, the Under-18 Junior World Cup in 2006 and the U20 Junior B World Championships in 2008 and 2009 in part. In the senior level, he stood for the first time at the World Cup 2011 squad in his country.
