Ã…sa Lif

Åsa Lif (born 26 July 1990) is a Swedish biathlete.

Åsa Lif lives in Östersund and is active for Lima IF. She is coached by Roger Westling. In 2011 she was appointed to the Swedish A-Team, since 2012 it belongs to the development squad. Their first international race she contested in the junior race of the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2007 in Otepaeae. At the races in cross country she reached the ranks 30 in the sprint and 28 in the mass start race on roller skis 20th day of sprints and 21 of persecution. Since the 2007/ 08 season she participated in the junior race of the Europe or IBU Cups. 2009 followed by the first part in the Junior World Championships in Canmore. In the sprint she was 34, in pursuit of individual and 33 as well as with Ingela Andersson and Marielle Molander in the Ninth Season. A year later Lif was in Torsby 40 of the Single Page, 30, of the sprint, pursuit 33 and 12 in the relay race. 2011 launched the Swede in Nové Město na Moravě at their third World Youth Championship. In individual she was 25, 34th in the sprint, 41 tracking and 14 in the relay.

2008 Lif launched for the first time at the competitions of women in the IBU Cup. In her first sprint was in Idre 64 Rank 53 in the following sprint at the same place is their best ever placing in the race series. To kick off the season 2012/13 she made her debut in the Biathlon World Cup in Ostersund. At the first sprint she reached the 88th place. In the following sprint in Hochfilzen they missed the Pursuit than 61 only one rank. With the season they came to the side of Elisabeth Högberg, Anna -Karin Strömstedt and Elin Mattsson on the anchor leg in the relay competition in ninth place.

Between 2008 and 2010 started Lif in several international cross-country race at youth level and in unterklassigen FIS races. National she won the Swedish Championships in biathlon in 2010 with the season Limas the bronze medal.
