Atilla Koç

Atilla Koç ( born March 1, 1946 in Aydın ) is a Turkish officer, politician and former Minister of Culture and Tourism.

He graduated from the Faculty of Political Science at the University Ankara.Danach Koç was in the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a consultant tätig.Er was police chief of the province Konya.Koç was Kaymakam in Ulubey, Nusaybin and Bayındır. After that Koç Vali of the provinces of Siirt and Giresun.Er worked as a consultant at the State Secretariat of the Prime Minister and as Secretary-General in the municipality of Ankara.

Atilla Koç was a member of the Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi ( AKP) for the province of Aydın in the 22nd legislative period (October 14, 2002 to July 22, 2007 ) of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. Koç was a member of the First Erdoğan Cabinet of the AKP government under Erdogan in which he was Minister of Culture and Tourism.

Koç is married and father of three children.
