Auersthal
Auersthal is a market town with 1851 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in Lower Austria, district Gaenserndorf.
Geography
Auersthal located in Lower Austria's wine district, about 10 km east of Wolkersdorf. The area of the municipality covers 15.18 km ². 2.47 percent of the area is forested.
There are no other cadastral except Auersthal.
History
As part of the history of Lower Austria Auersthal was founded around 1050 as part of a settlement wave from Bavaria. 1140, the village was first mentioned in documents as " Urolfstal ". 1485 were burnt down by the Hungarians Auersthal and the neighboring village of Aich perennials. 1529 plundered the Turks the town and 1645 were Swedish soldiers in Auersthal. After the French in 1805 and 1809, Prussia in 1866 came in the place. The First World War brought a lot of hardship and misery, just as the Second World War Auersthal not spared. From 1945-1955 Auersthal belonged to the Soviet occupation zone. Since the second half of the 20th century, the city flourishes and is today a modern tourist town near the Austrian capital Vienna.

Mayor of the municipality is Erich Hofer, Head of Office, Helmut Hofer and parish priest is KR Karl Bock.
In the market there are a total of 19 council seats after the municipal elections of 14 March 2010, the following distribution of seats: ÖVP List 10, Social Democratic Party 9, other no seats.
Music
The music plays a big role in Auersthal and is kept high by many people. Especially the Musikverein Auersthal is on every occasion: from village festival Relocation up to the funeral. Culture and Attractions
