Jedenspeigen
Jedenspeigen is an Austrian market town with 1058 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the district Gaenserndorf in Lower Austria.

Geography
Jedenspeigen lies in the wine district in Lower Austria. The area of the municipality covers 23.22 square kilometers. 8.07 percent of the area is forested.

History
The Battle of Dürnkrut and Jedenspeigen on August 26, 1278 between the Bohemian King Ottokar II Přemysl and the Habsburg Rudolph I apply after the Battle of Hastings as the second largest battle of knights in history. It ended with the victory of Habsburg, Otakar II was killed trying to escape.

Population Development
According to the results of the 2001 census, there were 1166 inhabitants. In 1991, the market town of 1115 inhabitants, 1132 and 1981 in 1971, 1191 inhabitants.

- Medieval Festival Jedenspeigen: The biggest attraction of the village is the biennial at Castle Jedenspeigen held Medieval Festival. The festival was co-founded with the market town of Dürnkrut in 2003 to mark the 725th anniversary of the Battle of Dürnkrut and Jedenspeigen. Alternately, it takes place in Dürnkrut and Jedenspeigen. In August 2011 17.000 visitors came to Jedenspeigen. In 2013, the place under the motto " Knight experience first hand " standing hard in the time from 10 to 11 August.
