Auto GP World Series

Auto GP World Series is a discharged since 1999, based in Italy racing series for formula vehicles, the guest appearances on various racetracks in Europe and worldwide since 2012. It starts in unit vehicles.

History

The series began in 1999 as a substructure of the European Formula 3000 under the name Italian Formula 3000 (English: Italian Formula 3000). It was organized by Pierluigi Corbari, the chassis, the T96/50, was supplied by Lola and equipped with a Zytek engine. As the Formula 3000 in 2001 " international" was that race series rose to EUR F3000 (English: Euro Formula 3000) on. In 2004, Superfund became the title sponsor of the race series and wanted to start their own " formula Superfund " in the following year, but pulled it up before the next season of the series back.

The end of the race weekend

On Friday of each race weekend will be two free practice à half an hour. Since the 2006 season, a race weekend is divided into two races. The starting grid for the first race, which will be held on Saturday, is determined by a qualification.
