Avèze, Gard
Avèze is a commune of the department of Gard in the Languedoc- Roussillon region. Administratively, it is assigned to the District of Le Vigan and the Arrondissement Le Vigan.
Geography
The village with 1070 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) is located on the southern edge of the Cevennes at the foot of Mont Aigoual at the confluence of the Coudoulous in the Arre around 45 kilometers north of Montpellier.
