Vissec

Vissec is a small French village with 53 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the Languedoc- Roussillon region. It is located in Canton Alzon and belongs to Arrondissement Le Vigan in the department of Gard.

Geography

The village lies in a valley of the Cevennes to 400 meters above sea level on the border between the departments of Gard and Herault departments within the Cevennes National Park.

The 21.83 km ² territory extends 340-793 meters above sea level and is bordered to the north by Campestre -et- Luc, on the northeast by Blandas, in the southeast of Saint- Maurice- Navacelles, in the southwest of Saint- Michel and to the west by Sorbs.
