Bad Astronaut

Bad Astronaut was an American indie rock band.

Founded in 2000 as a side project of Lagwagon singer and songwriter Joey Cape, the band had seven members. On 6 February 2001, the debut album " Acrophobe " via Honest Don 's, a sub-label of Fat Wreck Chords. This was followed on 15 October 2002, the CD " Houston: We Have A Drinking Problem ".

On 14 November 2006, the third and final studio work entitled "Twelve Small Steps, One Giant Disappointment" was published. The reason for the breakup of the band is the suicide of drummer Derrick Plourde in March 2005.
