Geography

Bader Goula lies in the Sahel. The neighboring municipalities are Gadabédji in the north, Tagriss in the east, guidan Amoumoune and Kornaka in the south and Birni LaLLe and Roumbou I in the West. The municipality is divided into 93 administrative villages, four traditional villages, 57 hamlets, four bearing and six water points. The main town of the rural community is the administrative village Goula.

History

Bader Goula emerged as a merger of the nomad camp Bader with the village Goula, which was established as a base for the caravan trade to Agadez and Bilma. The French colonial administration set up in 1947 in a Canton Bader Goula one. For this canton was founded in 2002 as part of a nationwide administrative reform, the rural community Bader Goula forth.

Population

At the 2001 census Bader Goula had 45 142 inhabitants. For the year 2010 61.035 inhabitants were calculated.
