Dan Goulbi (also: Dan Goulbi ) is a rural municipality in the department of Dakoro in Niger.

Geography

Dan Goulbi located at the junction of Great Landscape Sudan Sahel. The neighboring municipalities are Ourno in the North, Sabon -Machi in the east, guidan Roumdji in the south and Bangui in the West. The municipality is divided into 53 administrative villages, five traditional villages, 43 hamlets and 16 stock. The main town of the country church is the administrative village Dan Goulbi (also: Dan Goulbi ), which lies on the north bank of the Wadi Goulbi N'Kaba.

History

The rural community of Dan - Goulbi was founded in 2002 at a nationwide administrative reform from the southwestern part of the canton Kornaka forth.

Population

At the 2001 census Dan Goulbi had 31 918 inhabitants. For the year 2010 43.156 inhabitants were calculated.

Policy

In the local elections in July 2004 Inoussa Ousmane ( PNDS - Tarayya ) was elected mayor. On 15 April 2010 the Council of Ministers Sani Salaou appointed administrator ( Administrateur Délégué ) of the communities Adjékoria, Dan Goulbi, Kornaka, Maïyara and Sabon -Machi.

Economy and infrastructure

The community is located mainly in an area in which predominates the rainfed agriculture. In the West zone of the irrigation field economy begins.
