Baganga is a metropolitan area municipality in the province of Davao Oriental, located on the east coast of the island of Mindanao in the Philippines. It has 53 426 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 18 barangays.

Geography

The community Baganga is about 294 km from Davao City International Airport is about Mati City to reach along the coast road. The municipality covers an area of 945.50 km ² along the east coast of the island of Mindanao. Within the municipal territory lies the nature park and sea reserve Baganga Bay Protected Landscape and Seascape.
