Banaybanay, Davao Oriental

Banaybanay is a metropolitan area municipality in the province of Davao Oriental and is located on the island of Mindanao in the Philippines. It has 39 121 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 14 barangays.

The community Banaybanay lies about 90 km east from the Davao International Airport and can be reached via the coastal road on the Gulf of Davao from there. The municipality covers an area of 419.30 km ² and the terrain is very mountainous.
