Balcarzowice

Balzarowitz, Polish Balcarzowice, is a town in Upper Silesia in the community Ujest in powiat Strzelecki in the Opole Voivodeship.

History

In the referendum on March 20, 1921 voted eight voters to remain in Germany and 113 for Poland. Nevertheless Balzarowitz remained with the German Reich. 1936, the town was renamed in Schönwiese. By 1945, the place was in the district of Great Strehlitz.

In 1945 the previously German place under Polish administration, was renamed Balcarzowice and was angeschlossen.1950 the Silesian Voivodeship Opole Voivodeship part of the place and 1999 the re-founded powiat Strzelecki.

On 15 August 2008 the place flowed a cyclone that had previously taken the place Schironowitz and damaged several plots. Then he moved to Błotnica Strzelecka ( Blottnitz ) on.

In November 2008, the City also received the official German place names Balzarowitz.
