Bas van den Brink

Sebastiaan " Bas " van den Brink ( born September 11, 1982 in Amsterdam) is a Dutch football player.

Career

Van den Brink played at youth level in Huizen for HSV De Zuidvogels before he moved to the youth department of FC Utrecht. In 2003, he was against PSV Eindhoven in the 1-3 defeat at the Johan Cruyff Schaal his competitive debut for the first team of Utrecht and arrived in rest of the season to 14 matches in the Eredivisie. After he was no longer considered in the Hinserie the season 2004/ 05 in Utrecht, he continued his career in January 2005 in the second highest Dutch league with FC Emmen, in 2007 he moved to league rivals FC Omniworld.

In 2009, he received an offer from the Australian A -League by the newly created expansion team Gold Coast United, which he eventually accepted.

After two winning seasons for Gold Coast in the spring of 2011 he moved to South Korea in the financially stronger K -League for Busan I'Park be thereat guest, however, was short-lived, and his contract was dissolved again in April 2011. Van den Brink then returned to the A -League and signed a contract with Perth Glory. In January 2013, he broke his contract with Perth early on by the Indian first division club Churchill Brothers SC to change, but a contract did not materialize. Subsequently, van den Brink returned back to the Netherlands and plays since start of the season 2013/14 for the third division VV IJsselmeervogels from Spakenburg.
