The Battle of Fano was fought in 271 near the present-day Fano in Italy between the Alemanni and the Romans under Emperor Aurelian. After his defeat at the Battle of Placentia Aurelian defeated the Alamanni. The news of his victory ensured in Rome for a great relief.
