Bayog, Zamboanga del Sur

Bayog is a Philippine municipality in the province of Zamboanga del Sur on the island of Mindanao. It has 30 048 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 28 barangays. The community is described as partly urban.

The municipality is situated on the banks of the Bayog Sibuguey and the Dipili - Rivers and is accessible via the Maharlika Highway from the provincial capital of Pagadian City. In 1995, the community received the annual award of the Philippines for the flow with the best water quality, the Dipili River.
