Beetzsee (Amt)

The Office Beetzsee based in the municipality of Lake Beetz is an office in the district of Potsdam- agent Mark (Brandenburg), in the five municipalities are combined into a composite administration. It was formed in 1992 and initially included 15 municipalities in the then district of Brandenburg.
Geographical location
The Office is located in the north of the district Potsdam- agent Mark Brandenburg ( Germany ) and borders the municipalities Milower country and Premnitz in the west, to the north by the county Havel country in the east on the community Grosskreutz, as well as to the city of Brandenburg an der Havel in the south.
Outline of the Office Beetzsee
In 2010 the office was Beetzsee of five official member municipalities:
- Beetzsee with Brielow and Radewege
- Beetzseeheide with Butzow, Gortz and Ketzür
- Havelsee ( City) with Briest, Fohrde, Hohenferchesar, Marzahne and city Pritzerbe
- Paewesin with Bagow, Bollmannsruh and Riewend
- Roskow with Lünow, Roskow and Weseram
History
On April 7, 1992, with effect from 6 May 1992, the Minister of the Interior gave its approval for the formation of the Office Beetzsee. Seat of the Office was in Butzow. It then consisted of the following municipalities:
- Brielow
- Hohenferchesar
- Ketzür
- Small Kreutz
- Lünow
- Marzahne
- Paewesin
- Radewege
- Roskow
- Weseram
- Briest
- City Pritzerbe
The Ministry of the Interior approved with effect from 1 February 2002, the formation of the new community Beetzsee from the communities Brielow, Marzahne and Radewege, the formation of new community Beetzseeheide from the communities Butzow, Gortz and Ketzür, the formation of a new municipality Roskow from the communities Lünow, Roskow and Weseram and the formation of the new city Havelsee from the communities Briest, Fohrde, Hohenferchesar and the city Pritzerbe. This established the Office Beetzsee only five municipalities. On 13 February 2004 the Minister of the Interior has been authorized to transfer of the headquarters of the district of the municipality Butzow Beetzseeheide approved in the district Brielow the community Beetzsee. The change of the seat of the Office came on the day after the public announcement of the change in the Official Journal of Brandenburg in force ( = 4 March 2004).
