The Office Ziesar with headquarters in the city Ziesar (Landkreis Potsdam- means Mark is an office in the district of Potsdam- agent Mark (Brandenburg ) in the six municipalities are combined into a management network. The Office was formed in 1992 and initially consisted of 11 municipalities in the former county of Brandenburg).
Geographical location
The Office is located in the west of the district Potsdam- agent Mark Brandenburg ( Germany ), and borders the State of Saxony -Anhalt in the west, to the north by the Office Wusterwitz, to the town of Bad Belzig in the east, and to the community Wiesenburg / Mark in south.

The seat is in Ziesar (Address: Mill Gate 15 a, 14793 Ziesar ). 2010, the district managed five municipalities:
- Buckautal with Buckau, Dretzen and Steinberg
- Görzke with Hohenlobbese
- Trenches with Dahlen and Rottstock
- Wollin
- Ziesar ( City) with Bücknitz, ganglia corner and Köpernitz
History
The Minister of the Interior approved the formation of the Office Ziesar to the so-called Office Model 1 ( form their own management ), based in the city Ziesar on May 13, 1992. Formally, it came into existence with effect from 15 June 1992. The Office took over the management of the following municipalities:
- Buckau
- Bücknitz
- Dretzen
- Glienecke
- Köpernitz
- Steinberg
- Wenzlow
- Wollin
- Chintz
- And the city Ziesar
As of 20 October 1992, the municipalities trenches Hohenlobbese and Rottstock were attached to the Office Ziesar. On 2 November 1992, the municipality Görzke was assigned to the office.
As of 31 December 2001, the municipalities Rogäsen, Viesen and Warchau formed (Official Wusterwitz ) the new community Rosenau. The community chintz was also incorporated the new community on 31 December 2001 and resigned from office.
On 1 March 2002, the number of municipalities in the Official Ziesar was greatly reduced. From the communities Buckau and Dretzen the new community Buckautal was formed. The communities ganglia corner, Bücknitz and Köpernitz were incorporated into the city Ziesar. The community Hohenlobbese was incorporated into the municipality Görzke. The municipality was incorporated bucks in the community and the community Wenzlow Steinberg was incorporated into the municipality Buckautal.
October 26, 2003, the municipality Rottstock was dissolved and incorporated by trenches. The community Rottstock put municipal constitutional complaint against its dissolution and inclusion in the community ditches one. The action of the community against their incorporation in the Constitutional Court of the State of Brandenburg was initially granted. The legislature was then given until 1 January 2006 in order to avoid a new regulation by the invalidity of the annexation. Then issued the Parliament of the Land Brandenburg with effect from 3 July 2004 Confirmation Act, in which the incorporation was confirmed. The community Rottstock rose on 30 May 2005 again municipal constitutional complaint, which was the country's Constitutional Court on 15 June 2006 partially dismissed, rejected the rest.
