Bellaphon records is a November 25, 1963 by Branko ( Branislav ) Zivanovic, founded by German major label based in Frankfurt am Main.
History
With his wife Jutta Riedel, who ran a record shop in Frankfurt, Branko Zivanovic founded in Frankfurt record label Bellaphon. Basic color of all labels was a carefully Chosen purple, the company name (company) bella phon is easy to decode. The great boom began when you took over the then unknown label Fantasy in Germany and thus all recordings of Creedence Clearwater Revival could bring to the market. In the best phase had numerous labels under contract, as Penny Farthing, German Vogue, Milestone Records, Barclay Records, among others Increase sales then you could with supply contracts for the PX markets of the U.S. Armed Forces in Germany.
