Bellicourt

Bellicourt is a commune with 635 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Aisne in the Picardie region.

Geography

Bellicourt located 13 kilometers north of Saint -Quentin, the Canal de Saint -Quentin, which leads here by the Riquevaltunnel.

History

The municipality was part of the Siegfried position in the First World War and was captured at the Battle of Saint- Quentin Canal on 29 September 1918 by the Allies.
